These · are · hard · times

Been a couple days because I've been really busy trying to finish my Language summer homework.
Has anyone read Ishmael??

I hung out with Dan and Brad the other day.
Lauren called and was bored so we went to her house.
She has a really cool looking house.
Brad was being really disrespectful toward her parents..I don't care how well you know someones family..you still show respect.
He kept making fun of Lauren too and I was like "What the hell.."
Lauren's mom is really nice, but her dad is one of those people who yells a lot and kids around a lot,
but you can't really tell when he's kidding and when he's not unless you know him..so anytime he'd joke around I was always the last to laugh
because I couldn't tell if he was kidding or not because he uses the same tone of voice for yelling and kidding.
Her dad wanted her to go get some eggs and she was like "someone's coming with me" (looks at Brad)
Dan was like "no I'm tired" and I guess he was cause he fell asleep on her couch haha.
Brad was like "I'm gonna talk to your parents"
So I was like "I'll go with you and we'll have a party"
So on the way there we talked about her going to college and what her and Brad are going to do and such..
And I guess she bought him stamps so that he can write her letters (he told me earlier that he would never use them because they're comic book ones..wtf he's dumb they were free)
When we got back he was still being real dumb and kept making fun of Lauren and Dan
It wasn't the kidding around making fun either..some of it was really mean.
So I was kinda like "uh..who are you and where's Brad"
We were in Laurens room listening to an amazing choir and just hanging out and stuff when he gets a call from his brother
and I guess his cousin was "in town" (he only lives like 20 mins away, but he never comes to our city)
and he used to be really close with his cousin so he wanted to hang out with them later so we were like whatever that's cool.
but then he made a huge show of how he had to bring me and Dan back to my house (like 10 mins away)
and I SAID that we should've taken my car too but noooo he was an idiot.
So he starts calling people to see if they could come get us at Laurens which is way out of the way for them
So of course they were like "uh..no"
So then he was trying to think of a place that people could meet him halfway and he said a movie place like..right by my house
So I was all "you might as well go to my house then"
and he kept arguing with me and I was like "uh..I live there I think I know what's by my house thanks."
Then Chelsea agreed to pick us up at GCS (its a gas station that's really nice and has a couple restaurants and stuff)
and he's on the way there and he goes to pull into this other gas station thinking its the right one and then argued with me and Dan when we said it wasn't the right one.
Then we get there and he like shooes us out of his car.
Chelsea was kinda mad cause she couldn't believe he did that and was being so dumb about it.
For real..he was being a huge ass all day.
I got along with Lauren better than him.
I don't know what his issue is lately, but he's been blowing us all off and it's pissing me off.

So. Ben and Jeff are dating again.
This is not going to go over well with Dan.
Gah and I was doing so good with the drama free summer and all.
This is Jeff on the left.



Let's start from the beginning of the day.
I woke up really early this morning, but then I went back to bed and slept until like noon.
Then I lied around until Kat came over.
So we just chilled here watching youtube.com videos cause we're losers like that.
Then Chelsea and Ben came over cause I though we were gonna watch The Number 23, but they had to sing at church so they convinced us to go.
It was awkward cause they go to our rival school so we were there and our friends that go there were like "why are you here?!"
Kat's not even Catholic so she felt really awkward.
Oh well.
After that we went to Chelsea's where she got yelled at so we left and went to Perkins.
We called Jeff and Dan to see if they wanted to come.
Dan didn't have a ride so he had to call Brad and they live like..far away so they had to drive all the way over here.
We were there for 45 minutes at the most after they got there, so it was a huge waste of gas for Brad.
I probably wouldn't have even called Dan if I had known it would've been a waste of their time, but now I know I guess.
He was really tired so he wasn't much fun.
Dan was all depressed so he wasn't much fun either.
Brad took Ben outside cause he had to talk to him and I guess he asked Ben about the Jeff thing and wanted Ben to talk to Dan about it
And Ben was just like "No offense, but it really is none of Dan's business."
Ben and Jeff had dated for five months before so Dan really can't compare to that.
And Ben I know you can read this, but whatever.
I think Ben should talk to Dan just to make sure that they're still gonna be cool with each other.
Cause I really don't want to deal with the whole "is he mad at me?!" thing when you can just find out right away.
It saves time and drama for everyone.
My knee hurts so bad right now.
It started at Perkins and I took my pain pills but damn it hurts.
I taught Ben how to play the bass drum part for the songs we listened to on the way home.
We hit the car seat for the bass and I clapped the snare haha.
It was fun and took my mind off my knee for awhile so that was nice.

Tomorrow we play our rivals in football.
I'm excited and I really hope we win.
If not then oh well, but it'd be cool to win two years in a row.
We beat them last year and it was AMAZING cause they had a decade record of beating us.

Footloose had its opening night tonight.
IT WENT SOOOO GOOD!!!
Brad sounded amazing.
All the cues were on.
The crowd reacted.
People danced when the cast went out into the aisle dancing during the bows.
Kat, Felizia and I ushered and looked 80's-tastic.
There will be a picture eventually.
Brad had a cast party and it was SO MUCH FUN!


I'm so glad I met these people.
I really really am.
I thought this summer was going to suck because Kat was going away for 2 months.
So I thought I'd have no one to hang out with that I can stand for more than a day.
And then I met Chelsea, who introduced me to the fabulous cast of Footloose.
Who I will write about eventually, but I'm so busy hanging out with them, its hard to find time.
I don't think they know how glad I am to know them.
They're all different than my usual friends..and I like it a lot.
The people I normally hang out with just say the same stuff and do the same thing everyday.
It's like their living in a never-ending cycle of one day.
I feel almost like I haven't been living..I've just been pretending to be.
They don't pick on each other constantly either.
Pft. Who am I kidding they do too..but it's different with them because you can actually feel the genuineness of the "I'm just kidding I love you"
When I was younger I always wanted the group of close friends you saw on TV shows.
And I think I've finally found it, or the makings of it cause I don't know them that well.
I doubt I'd ever tell any of them that because I'm probably just known as "Chelsea's friend the usher" to some of them,
But I don't care.
They've made me realize what good friends are.
And it's changed my life, it really has.

Chelsea
AKA Ci Ci, Chels,
Chelsea and I went to school together when I was in 7th grade and she was in 8th,
but I didn't talk to her.
Chelsea was at my schools homecoming and was probably 5 feet away from me,
but I didn't talk to her.
Chelsea's friend Blaze started dating my friend Nate,
so I talked to her and now I love her dearly.
Chelsea and I get along so well because we're both super laid back and are basically the same person.
Except she can sing, really good, and I'm tone deaf.
Chelsea is a drama dork.
She does musicals and plays at school and is also in Footloose with Brad (see below)
She plays Vi, Ariel's mom and rocks at it.
She also introduced me to Brad and for that I love her to death.
She's never had a boyfriend or even been kissed,
but I can't wait until she does because I honestly think she's gonna go insane with happiness.
First boyfriends are always something worth having.
She's going to be a senior next year which means she's going to leave for college
and that makes me sad, but I have a very strong belief that she'll be back here to visit, so I'll live.
She's the only one of my girl friends that I haven't been annoyed with at some point.
So that's cool.




Rolf
AKA sweeps, Rolfypooper, Rolfy, Merlin, Loser
I used to like Rolf.
A lot.
I told Rolf that I liked him.
He got all awkward and stopped talking to me.
Now we're close friends.
He is an amazing musician.
If you give him some time with any instrument he can figure out how to play it and will be damn good at it too.
Sometimes Brad totally reminds me of him and it scares me.
Really scares me.

Brad

Brad is my new love. Not the one from the first post (I'll get to him later), but a different one.
I met him through Chelsea who is next to me on the right.
They are in the musical Footloose together where Brad plays Ren who is the male lead
He plays drums, guitar, bass, piano, and sings amazingly.
He is possibly one of the nicest guys I've met.
I've hung out with him a total of five times so far and I'm basically head over heels.

He also has been dating this girl Lauren for a year and a half
BUT GUESS WHAT
She's going to Chicago for college this year and one of his best friends told me he wants to be able to date around.
I guess Lauren like broke down and stuff and I feel really bad for her cause she is cool.
But she SO overprotective of him it's kind of rediculous.
People tell me that he's a "chunker" and it really bothers me.
He's very broad shouldered, and so what if he's a bit bigger than some guys.
He's cooler than most guys I've met and is basically like a big teddy bear.
So if you're superficial enough to call him a "chunker"..
don't bother cause I don't care.
